Events and Fundraising Activities

UPCOMING EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

The Youth Achievement Luncheon is our Signature Fundraiser and a great way to honor and showcase our mentees and their accomplishments. We have one of the finest mentoring programs in the state and the funds we raise at the luncheon and during the year are vital to our program’s continued development and the success of our mentees. We would love for you to attend our events and see the work we are doing with our current mentees.

The 22nd Annual Golf Challenge is a major part of our fundraising efforts. By participating or sponsoring the Golf Challenge Scholarship Fundraiser, you help to provide the 100 Black Men of North Metro Atlanta, Inc. the opportunity to continue our initiatives of mentoring to our youth; health and wellness programs for our communities; academic enrichment to our schools and scholarships to deserving students.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month – Men’s mental health matters. Join us on May 9, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:30 pm for an enlightening discussion with Dr. Emmett Shaffer at the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. This event is free and open to everyone—bring your family, friends, and community. RSVP through our partner @cfneg at cfneg.org/events/men-mental-health-and-success/

Our 2nd Run For Tomorrow 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk was held on Saturday, October 14th.  It’s a family-friendly community event presented by the 100 Black Men of North Metro Atlanta, Inc.  Runners, joggers, and walkers  enjoyed a healthy, fun-filled event while supporting a worthy cause. Electronic chip timing ensured accuracy for runners. While strollers were permitted on the course, pets were not permitted.  All proceeds benefit our Men of Tomorrow Mentoring Program and the Collegiate 100 at Kennesaw State University.
Dads At A Distance was a great opportunity to engage with fathers and father figures in the lives of children.  On Saturday, July 16th we hosted an interactive discussion as we unlocked the responsible father toolkit.  While it was a day of community engagement, we also had games, free lunch, and a school supplies giveaway to students that pre-registered.
